General
There are several ways to get certified as an AWS CWI. One way is the full seminar and examinations. These can be expensive and due to the covid-19 virus are subject to delays. An efficient plan would be to purchase an online training course that include sections for Part A, B, and C that you can do on your own schedule and review up until the exams. Then schedule and go complete the part B exam. Once completed, schedule and complete your part A and C exams on a computer (CBT) at a Prometric facility near you.
You must pass the CWI exam Part B before you can take the Part A and C examinations from AWS.

Once Part B is completed you will schedule your CBT with Prometric on their schedule. You can find Prometric sites on a Google map search or by visiting their site - Prometric.
AWS has specific requirements that you need to be aware of and plan for:
AWS has changed to an online system. They do not want you mailing stuff to them anymore and there is a big fee if you do. Gather your documents early to prevent a last minute rush!
-
You need an eye exam that may take time to schedule
-
You need to be able to scan documents to pdf format for uploading. If you do not have a scanner, you can use your phone and create a pdf from the camera using an app.
-
you need a passport photo in .jpg format - I use the Walgreens photo department to make it easy!
-
you need information to key directly into their database, so have the info ready
